Liberty University Online Academy offers courses for elementary and high school students (grades 3-12) with an emphasis on individualized learning. Offered by Liberty University - The World's largest Evangelical University - and the world's largest Christian Distance Learning Program, our program includes automatic lesson planning with a multi-media interactive Christ-centered curriculum.

Who is your typical student (or students)?

The student body at Liberty University Online Academy is diverse in academic personality.  In addition to meeting the needs of students seeking a traditional course schedule, the Academy provides academic options for students seeking either an advanced program or who are in need of improving basic skills.  Personalized schedules allow students to work at their own pace within a structured school environment, supported by a qualified teacher.

As a division of Liberty University, the Online Academy offers its students the unique opportunity to benefit from the expertise available through the universities system of instruction, vast computer resources and online library. Online Academy 11th and 12th graders may also participate in our dual enrollment program with the universities Distance Learning Program. This allows the student to begin earning college credit toward their bachelor’s degree while fulfilling high school requirements – all online!

Another unique factor is our Liberty University Tuition Scholarship – Every dollar that is spent on tuition in the Online Academy is credited toward tuition as a student enrolled at Liberty University’s resident program once they graduate. It’s like a guaranteed college savings account! The total amount will be equally divided over four years of the student’s enrollment as a resident student of Liberty University and be applied toward tuition only.
