I am in my mid-20's and been looking for a good distant learning high school to get my diploma for about a year now. I would have to complete pretty much all four years. I'm looking for a college prep program because I plan on attending college afterwards. I have checked out many of the schools listed on this site and have liked a couple of them but I found that Ashworth University High School (formally James Madison High School, part of PCDI) isn't listed on this site. The high school program is both regionally and nationally accredited, so I was wondering why it wasn't listed on this site? Is the school no good? The website is

The things that draw me away from them two are the price and Keystone in particular would take quite a bit longer because it has a rule that a course can only be completed in a minimum of 8 weeks, I'm not sure if Allied has any kind of rule like that. I really feel that would slow me down and it doesn't fit my time table for completion. I would rather be able to complete the program in no more than two years, a year if possible.
So my top choice would still be Ashworth University High School since the price is pretty decent compared to the others and it offers choice of either correspondence or online with correspondence being about half the price of their online program.
One other question, would an actual online type program be better than the correspondance? It seems the online subjects are more up to date with the current world, having programs that involve computers and such.
