I too have been considering Keystone National after a week of reviewing many possible online schools. Because I am a single parent who is president of a family company, I do not have the time to use the traditional homeschool methods. We need a comprehensive distance learning environment that will give her the quality education to attend the University of her choice. I want a total school environment where they will monitor her progress, assist her when needed, and help her with her college application. She is a dancer and cannot meet the "days in the seat" requirement enforced by our local public and private schools. After reviewing the sample demos from all the schools, I found that the Keystone National and Bradenton Prep had the most engaging and interactive "classroom" experience. Are there any other quality online schools that would offer this kind of interactive environment for study?

Keystone National is a reasonable choice. However, another school to consider is Laurel Springs School where they specialize in students like your daughter. They have many, many students who are dancers, athletes, performers, and so on. Former students have gone on to bigger and better things.

While I do know of Bradenton Prep, I have no information on it and you are the first to ask about it. That means little, but it is something to consider.

My best advice is to call the schools in which you are interested. Sometimes that personal contact gives you much information.
