While this site has absolutely nothing to do with your request, I thought I would give you a few pieces of information.
California is a very large state. Your request, without a specific location, will not get you any responses here. The place is just too big for your question to make sense to most of us in California.
The economy of California, like much of the U.S., is not great right now. The governor is talking about significant budget cuts in many areas.
