Does the state that you live in make a difference as to whether or not you graduate from high school? While it is impossible to know your specific case, I can tell you that:

a. The state with the highest percentage of high school graduates is North Dakota; and

b. The state with the lowest percentage of high school graduates is Texas (with California being #2).

While it would be easy to compare the size of the immigrant populations in those respective states (with North Dakota’s being very small and Texas & California being very large), that is only part of the issue. Funding is key in all three of those states.
