Comes news today that Complete Guide to Online High Schools has been selected as one of the top fifteen virtual school books. This ranking comes from the blog of Dr. Michael Barbour who, if you know anything about virtual learning, would know that he’s one of the guys. To say I am pleased would be an understatement.

Makes me more determined to finish the second edition by the fall.

Since I have not mentioned it in a while, I thought I would do so here. In addition to the print version of Complete Guide to Online High Schools, there is also an e-book version available for the very cheap price of $8.95. You can find that electronic product over at Payloadz.com.

Dr. John Bear has been described as the grandfather of distance learning. While there are pretenders to the throne, he is the real deal. His Bears’ Guide to Earning Degrees by Distance Learning is the seminal work in the field. If you are in distance learning and you have not heard of him, you are really not in distance learning.
